The Cello Cēsis Festival invites the young listeners to a visually magnificent and emotional concert production that speaks of hope, understanding each other and the healing power of music. Join us and dive head-first into a cosmic adventure where music becomes a bridge linking worlds!

There are three cello players, Guardians of the Universe – Mel, El and Lo – living on a distant planet named M. Peace and harmony have been reigning in the Universe for some time now, and their assistance on rescue missions has not been required. Although their days are quite monotonous, the musicians keep exercising, honing their skills and challenging each other to be prepared when the time comes to fly to someone’s rescue.

One day they receive a desperate call for help: the planet Earth is in danger. Mel, El and Lo embark on an exciting journey through space and emotions; music becomes the only language that can bring everyone together.

By the time the Guardians of the Universe reach their destination, Earth has already been destroyed. They meet a lonely girl who is scared of the strangers, but the gentle sound of cello overcomes misunderstanding: it heals, soothes and eventually brings everyone closer. Dance becomes a conversation, and silent understanding grows into warm love and hope for the better.
